Trans-Logistic was established by Mary A. Williams, who has over 30 years of experience in the motor freight industry.  Mary entered the transportation field in 1971 with Roadway Express.  She held various administrative positions until she left Roadway in 1982.

Williams was promoted to the management staff where she held the position of, dock foreman, line haul dispatcher and city operation dispatch.  Mary left Roadway in good standing and still have several acquaintances there.


Mary began working at Consolidated Freightways in 1982.  She began as a Terminal/National Account Assistance.  Throughout her tenure with Consolidated Freightways she was promoted continuously due to her hard work, determination and respect in the industry.  She held the following positions:  office manager, claims prevention supervisor, personnel manager, and was promoted to terminal manager at Consolidated Freightways in Beaumont, Texas.  Mary held that position for six years before returning to the Houston Consolidation Center as Freight Operations and Administration Manager.   In 1996 Mary was promoted to Manager of Training at Consolidated Freightways for the South Texas terminals.  In this capacity Mary traveled to over fourteen Consolidated Freightways Terminals training, all new employees and managers.

In 1999, Mary left Consolidated Freightways to achieve another life long goal.  That goal was to own and operate a transportation and logistic company.   She is the author of two books, “The Good Old Days-When Customer Service Actually Mattered” and “So You Want to Be a Broker,”   and co-author of “Customer Service Goldmine” along with 33 other prestigious authors.

On March 15, 2005, a Press Release was issued introducing a Do it Yourself Training Manual Titled “Freight Broker Operations Manual”.  The Manual is updated periodically and new training material is added for those who purchase the manual.
